Activity number: 1302989

RACGP Provider: Global Medical Education (612747)

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this Mini Clinical Audit, you will be able to:

  • Identify options for patient recall through review of patient data, with consideration of patient perspectives: comorbidities, quality of life, and patient education.
  • Identify patients that require specialist intervention when reviewed against diagnostic criteria.
  • Review the management of a cohort of patients who have been determined to have atopic dermatitis.
  • Assess your management of atopic dermatitis against the Australian guideline in primary care.

This audit consists of 4 steps:

Step 1:

Patient cohort selection: From your current practice management software, please identify 5 patients that you want to use as a cohort for this audit. Please review the learning objectives; they should form the basis of your patient cohort selection.

Step 2:

Reflect on your current practice. The tool has a Dictaphone-like feature for you to record your reflection notes. Be as verbose and detailed as possible. Our AI will summarize your reflection into a SOAP note format and structure it correctly.

Step 3:

Literature review: Use our AI Literature review agent to review the current OSA guidelines. Your questions will be answered, and references to sections of the guidelines will be shown. You will also be provided citations to the source of the answers.

Step 4:

Measuring outcomes : Based on your current clinical practice (Step 2) and reflecting on your literature review, you can now jot down the steps you need to take and outcomes you wish to measure for practice improvement.

To finalize the Mini Clinical Audit and get the CPD hours registered with RACGP, please fill out the evaluation form. Provide your email address to receive the Audit report for your records.
